Raeanna, ClearBlue Technologies collaborate on 9mobile network expansion

Raeanna, a Nigerian infrastructure company focused on rural connectivity and energy solutions, together with 9mobile, a leading mobile network operator partner, is forging ahead with plans to roll out 100 sites in 2020 for voice and data services across Nigeria. 

“These new sites will add to 9mobile’s telecom infrastructure to meet the huge and growing demand for high-speed data in Nigeria,” said Tunji Alabi, Executive Director of Raeanna Nigeria Limited.

The sites will be powered by the proprietary Smart Off-Grid technology of Toronto, Canada-based Clear Blue Technologies. Two pilot sites have already been delivered to validate the planned rollout of the much larger 2G/3G/4G project in many urban and suburban areas of Nigeria. 

Justifying its choice of Clear Blue, Alabi said: “Based on the success of our previous collaborations, Clear Blue was the only choice to be the power systems provider for this exciting new project,”
